Castner IT provides high quality business technology solutions to Queensland, Australia. We specialize in project management, business technology solutions, web development using ASP.NET and SharePoint, database design, and elearning.
Castner IT was founded in 2008 by Dr Grant Castner, an instructor and assistant professor for six years in the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon (Go Ducks!). Prior to that, he was a lecturer at the University of Queensland where he received his PhD in information systems. When he is not updating this blog or working at Business Success Group as CIO, you can find him at the beach playing cricket or chasing my four year old daughter.
This blog grew out of UO student questions that went beyond the material covered during class time. The range of questions highlights that many (most) of the students were not focused on IT but accounting, marketing, finance, sports business, and entrepreneurship. The more advanced questions usually came from students in the elective eBusiness class where they implemented web solutions using Visual Studio, SQL Server, ASP.NET, and AJAX.
